Two New Commercials

Both are on the official website. One's called "secret" and the other is "whatever it takes". They have actual scenes but I still can't figure out much from them. I'm so excited now!!!

Minnie Had Her Baby!!

Minnie Driver FINALLY has a son, Henry Story Driver. I don't know if it felt longer because of the shows future or because I've heard so little about it.

Either way I'd give it about two months for FX to give an answer. I really think a month, but I wouldn't be surprised if it took longer.

Worried

Constantly I've been spouting that FX needs to get great ratings for it's other shows in order for them to continue to make shows that aren't as successful. But I looked up the ratings of The Shield and Sons of Anarchy were only "modest" and it makes me think this might mean the end for "The Riches". I pray that they count online play (like on their NEW website!) and DVR playbacks, since their shows ARE on pretty late. I hope and complain till I know the fate of "The Riches" for sure.

Here's the article about ratings:

Marathon

Congratulations FX for actually playing a marathon for a show that deserved it, but...I don't think anyone watched it but me.

Did anyone else catch this today? There should have been commercials at least.

Pretty Handsome

I mean, I know it's not ur target demo, but I hope you know Nip/Tuck has a HUGE gay following. Pretty Handsome would only help you capatalize on that. Besides, Nip/Tuck's quality has been getting stale and you need a replacement (besides the rumoured Dawn spin-off). You're losing a huge audience that goes mostly untapped.

And the pilot was amazing...of course. Either way, people want to know for sure.

Reasons for the long wait...

There is a looming actors strike that could begin by next monday. If it does, the show will be as good as cancelled. Lots of networks are holding off renewals and even rushing season tapings to fend off the strikes effects.

The strike will have the same motives as the writers strike had (online residuals). And if it happens, all hope for season three would be lost. I really hope they strike a deal...

Now That Dirt is Gone...

Maybe they are taking so long with "The Riches" because they want to have a final time when they air season three instead of shuffling it? All I know is, this show actually deserves a new season and Dirt did not. We must keep probing this site until FX caves in and renews it (or at least announces its renewal).

I know the ratings were even worse, but the quality is what they should be looking at. I'm sure it'll get another Emmy nod this year, which will only up our chances.

Hope for "The Riches"?
Now that D!rt is cancelled, maybe FX will keep "The Riches" will survive a new season? I'm hoping FX sees the Cult status it's achieved. BTW...I'm so glad D!rt is cancelled. BLAH!

Suggestion

So, FX, being such a loyal viewer and lover of almost all your shows, I feel I should give some advice.

Maybe, to attract viewers while all your shows are on Hiatus, you could replay the previous season during the week instead of saurdays. You could play it up with some cheap marketing, and shove "Damages"'s Golden Globe in peoples faces (like TNT's "The Closer" does). It doesn't have to be just "Damages" either, because I know the ratings for all of your shows have been waning.

I am glad to here about your "Rescue Me" mini-sodes. I'll be watching, but I hope you try just as hard with "Damages".

Proof of Season 3?
So does anyone actually have links to people saying "The Riches" is getting a third season? I see some people are saying they heard hearsay, but it would be great if I knew where the info came from. Depending on the place, it could be very accurate. In the meantime, I'll look for stuff.

New Show This Fall

Hey all Shield fans, FX is using "The Shield"'s final season to premiere a new show called "Sons of Anarchy". It's created by one of the writers from Shield and it's got Katey Sagal. How many will be watching it? I think it could definentlly fill the void.

Here's some links:

Don't Cancel "The Riches"!!!

I love "The Riches" and it's gotta be your best new show since you started 'Damages". You really upped your status after starting the trainwreck of a show named "Dirt". Seriously, if you have to cancel one, cancel the one that's incredibly horrible.

If you're not sure which, it's "Dirt".
