Ok, first off, I'm really glad that you still want to reply to me NipTuckFanAddict, and thanks so much for the five star rating or whoever did it.
Yes! Thank You for agreeing with me that Julia's overplaye. Ya, I just the future episode had a lot of problems. For one, I never like it much when a show does future episodes because I think it usually signals the writers are bored and the show could be slipping, but I don't really think Nip/Tuck is, so whatever. And Matt a doctor? No way!!! But we'll see.... But yes that episode did definitely show Julia alive, and we know she survived anyway.
Perhaps it was just wishful thinking on my part that Christian could've done better by Julia. But you're that wasn't really realistically going to happen. And that was such a sad and true comment about people like Christian never changing. You seem to have such good life experiences and insights, do you mind me asking how old you are?
Do you think Eden told her mom that she was somehow responsible for Julia? And is Julia going to get her memory back, and do you think/hope Sean will really try to continue a lie with her about their marriage?
Hey, as a side note, did Matt hook up with his sis Emmy again in the last episode? I missed it.
How big an impact do you think or would like to see Sean's getting stabbed have on the next season?
Matt refused Emmy's come ons, much to her chagrin.
As far as the future episodes go, Conor McNamara 20-something has ne bearing for nip tucks to come because the show is gonna be on for only a guaranteed three more years

Hi Conflicted!
Stoked to hear from you too. I was the one (at least one of the ones if there are more) who rated you with 5 stars because I like that the fact that you like to interact and discuss versus just state your views as I have found on so many other message boards. I am also a big Prison Break fan as well and am about fed up with posting because the ones who don't agree want to belittle your theories and opinions. I'm finding this blog style and the people here much more suited to my interests though.
Anyway, as for Nip/Tuck...I can honestly say Julia was never one of my favorite characters. She certainly has served her purpose on the show but any real storylines involving her, with the exception of Matt's paternity) have never even remotely held my interest. I would say killing her off probably won't happen if a shot to the head didn't do it but if she were to go back to New York or where ever I wouldn't shed a tear.
I do believe that Sean will of course survive his stabbing. I also believe he will continue to lie to Julia about being her husband. The real question is will Olivia and Christian allow this to go on and if so for how long? I feel Sean has never let go of her and probably never will. Despite everything she has put him through he has always come back for more. I also feel that for whatever reason the writers of this show want Sean and Julia together because they always go back in that direction. Personally, I don't get it and really liked seeing Sean get his due this year while Christian had to take a backseat. I would really like to see more equality between the two characters and in my opinion Julia hinders that for Sean.
The Matt and Emmy storyline I am a bit torn on now. I truly feel the writers dropped the ball here. Had everything played out as I stated I had hoped in my last post I would have been so behind this even if they carried it out to the end. Instead I feel this was another "shock-value" induced sub-plot that was killed as quickly as the viewers reaction was received. Christian's initial reaction was what I'd hoped for but in the end he strong-armed them into getting his way and his attitude was "okay glad that's over." There was no real emotion from him. He saw no real consequence from his actions. It completely took the steam out of the entire storyline for me. At the end though it was left a little up in the air. Matt and Emmy kissed goodbye and the scene cut. We never actually saw her leave or anything. They could continue this next season but based on the final scene it is most likely it ends there. I was actually proud of Matt for once though. Emmy tried to justify making it work and Matt was realistic enough to show her why it wouldn't. This was the most mature decision Matt has ever made and Jon Hensley did a great job portraying the emotional angst within him as did the actress playing Emmy. I have to say I truly found myself feeling sorry for them and at this point just wish they hadn't shown proof that they were indeed related. Maybe someone like Emmy would shape Matt up. Maybe he could get his act together and actually become a doctor. So at this point I would have to say that I do hope Matt finds someone like her since it appears she is indeed his sister. Maybe he will look more for girls who emulate the same pureness versus the Kimbers and the Evas and so on.
Also, I want to thank you for the compliment you paid me. I do have some life experience as I'm 37 but I still feel and act like I'm in my 20's, LOL! I am also a writer myself, not by trade but by hobby, and this is why I like to debate topics on TV shows such as Nip/Tuck. In spite of any stories I don't agree with I think these guys are brilliant. I also like that they will go in directions other shows won't. Anytime you want to chat let me know. I am also have just about every other messenger if you ever want to discuss or debate the show without having to wait for me to read a post and respond. Talk to you soon...
