This country was built and constructed with the blood of it's original owner/occupants. I recently watched a program in which Morgan Spurlock created. This show was about the Navajo Indians. I am appalled at how the reservation is so poverty stricken. As most americans, I am part Indian. My great, great grandfather was 100% Cherokee. There are no opportunities for these people. After watching that program I am not proud to call myself an american. And as I watch the new candidates fight for the position to call themselves the president, I don't hear any of them talk about this topic. As an american I want to be heard on this topic. I want results in this matter. Not for just Navajo, but all Indians. I don't think it's fair to them. They share their land and were kind to the white man, and what did they get in return? Next to nothing. They get nearly completely wiped out and those who weren’t murdered live in squalor. I would like something done about this. I don’t want to be ignored.
