Navajo Nation

I bet you take the fact that anytime you want a drink of water or want to bathe for granted.  You walk in your home, turn on your facet and you have water.  Its hot, cold or you regulate it to a medium temperature.  You waste it, you taste it, you throw it away.  Imagine living in the U.S., sai d to be the greatest nation in the world and you can't get running water in your home cause the federal government won't do what is right.  That's right your government, the one you pay taxes too, won't provide an entire race of people with a basic life sustaining function.  Water!  Think about it.  In the U.S. 200,000 natives, not immigrants, not transplants, not illegals, but natives can't get a simple thing like water running in their homes.

If you haven't seen it, you've got to watch 30 Days The Navajo Nation.  This is their country, the only one their entire race and culture has ever known and they can't get water running in their homes, while thier next door neighbors in Phoenix squander gallons of it every day.

I don't want to just complain about this or be upset about it.  I want to do something about it.  It's a disgrace and the government and people of this country should be ashamed.  We have to do something.

I'll do some research an get back to you.  In the meantime, your ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Peace
