Too Hollywood

Okay, I just had to say it.  Season 5 had some things that really made my say “WTF”!?

Colleen Rose: I don't know many older women who are a master of Ninjitsu.  You'd believe this character could sneak into the Oval Office in the White House undetected.  What is she doing selling bears in a mall when she could be America’s top spy?  She managed to drag a 180-200lb body up several stories into Shaun's room and stash it in his closet completely undetected!  Then at the end she manages to stealthily slip past reception, past Liz and everyone else working in the building and stab Shaun in the back.  Okay...we ge*****he's a freaking super stealthy ninja freak.  We’ve had enough of her popping up out of thin air already.

As much as Shaun and Christian have been through in their work place; you’d think they would cough up a little extra money for some decent security.  It’s not everyday you go into work and find a massacre in your office.  It’s a common thing for them.  I often wonder why the FBI isn’t tailing these two guys for all the people that died violent deaths around them.  They are more dangerous to have on the streets of the U.S. than the Taliban.

I noticed several of the main characters enjoy verbalizing their threats in detail to the people they plan to take down.  Okay, these main characters all have a history of sneaking around and stabbing each other in the back, how hard is it to do that to someone you really want to screw over?  They just have to tell them every little detail of their plan, then "Oh what do you know, the person takes the plan and slams it back into their face".  Hmmm...and these people all have top dollar college education?  What are they implying here?

Example 1: Christian goes after the teacher for biting Wilbur.  He tells her his plan way before he plans to put it into action; giving her ample time to come up with a counter strategy to make him look like an idiot.

Example 2: Julia and Eden.  Right, she finds out she is getting poisoned.  Rather than calling the police or telling someone else about what is going on, she in her frail weak condition decides the best strategy is to confront her, the girl who is trying to ruthlessly murder her.  Ya...stupid.

We are suppose to feel bad at the end of season 5 for the state that all the main characters are in; but, honestly the way the show went they got exactly what they deserved for being complete morons while the perpetrators skate away free from any consequence as we saw with Quentin and Kit in Season 4.

They better sharpen up the details in the series; it’s looking a little stilly right now.
