In a video date added July 15th, John Landgraf says that although the Riches is a project near and dear to his heart, he's still torn 50/50 whether to renew The Riches. http://www.broadcastingcable.com/flashVideo/element_id/2140242663/taxid/31764.html
I really love this show and the entire cast that breathes life into these well written characters, I want the third season and more!
If you are a fan and want this series to come back...... better re-inforce your desires with an e-mail to FX's Pres. John Landgraf and try to give him a push in the right direction.
The Riches was the highlight of my week and seeing it on Monday night the first season made the first workday of the week not just tolerable but WONDERFUL!
I'd love to see the third season come back on Mondays with the repeat schedule airing it an additional 2 or 3 times for anyone who missed it or just wanted a second helping of its excellence:)
Switching it to Tuesdays the second, shortened season may have confused and inconvenienced some viewers.
Mr. Landgraf.... if you're listening (and I hope you are) :)I'll take the third season of The Riches ANY day of the week..... but Monday Night would be superb!
I've had a heck of a time trying to post on this site....this is my third user name....formerly claywoman and FantasticFX......
All I want to do is encourage all the fans of the Riches to E-mail John Landgraf at FX and plead for the renewal of The Riches.....don't go down without a fight.....everywhere I go online bloggers are passionate about this show, yet FX is still on the fence about renewal.....let's give one more shout out to the Pres. and tell him how we feel......in 2007 Jack Myers.com interviewed John Landgraf: FX's success may also result from John's refusal to place too much emphasis on Nielsen ratings. "Financial analysts who are risk managers and make decisions primarily on a numbers basis have taken over American business. I understand analytics but the notion you can understand the world through linear analysis simply doesn't apply to world affairs or to story telling. People respond emotionally to television. In narrative story telling you need to strike out in the wilderness and hope you hit a responsive chord and survive."
You said it Mr. Landgraf....forget about the tiny sampling of numbers....this show inspires a passionate following all across the USA and around the world and we want it to come back.....Please!
