I've had a heck of a time trying to post on this site....this is my third user name....formerly claywoman and FantasticFX......
All I want to do is encourage all the fans of the Riches to E-mail John Landgraf at FX and plead for the renewal of The Riches.....don't go down without a fight.....everywhere I go online bloggers are passionate about this show, yet FX is still on the fence about renewal.....let's give one more shout out to the Pres. and tell him how we feel......in 2007 Jack Myers.com interviewed John Landgraf: FX's success may also result from John's refusal to place too much emphasis on Nielsen ratings. "Financial analysts who are risk managers and make decisions primarily on a numbers basis have taken over American business. I understand analytics but the notion you can understand the world through linear analysis simply doesn't apply to world affairs or to story telling. People respond emotionally to television. In narrative story telling you need to strike out in the wilderness and hope you hit a responsive chord and survive."
You said it Mr. Landgraf....forget about the tiny sampling of numbers....this show inspires a passionate following all across the USA and around the world and we want it to come back.....Please!
I completely agree with you. I'm new to the sight though. What is his email because I am all over sending him a few? I love the Riches and I really mad they ended the last season with only 7 episodes.. : (

I Think Landgraf does a great job with this network. I also read an interview that ever since "The Shield" took off, Rupert Murdoch decided to give FX tons of financial freedom, which is why they have tons of shows with horrible ratings.
I have emailed, but I will again. Until then we should all just post on "The Riches" board, to show how much it's missed.

I have emailed, but I will again. Until then we should all just post on "The Riches" board, to show how much it's missed.

Thanks for your posts Bertrand and komicaze thanks for the rating... this is a tough fight against the Nielsen numbers for The Riches...but one worth winning......besides I've never met anyone in the Nielsen family groups....have you?
Why should they count more than the loyal, vocal fans?

I too have had trouble logging on to this site.
As for the Nielsen ratings I feel they are extremly outdated If in fact they were ever accurate. The Riches is one of the best shows to come across t.v. I am so tired of "reality shows" I turn on the tube to escape reality. The riches allows me to do this taking me on an unbelivable ride of twist and turns. We can not give up with out a fight to be sure. I have sent my sentiments as well to Mr. Lendgraf.

Thanks for your reply Scorbitt.....so glad you're speaking out on behalf of the Riches........as for the e-mail addresses
I've sent them to this site at user-AT-fxnetworks-DOT-com and also
john.landgraf-AT-fxnetwork-DOT-com which I believe is his corporate LA e-mail. (note: one has an"S" after network and the other does not.)
Eddie says he's anticipating 7 seasons!!! .....let's help him get at least that many :)
As always, please be courteous but passionate when expressing your opinion to Mr. Landgraf about the Riches.
