Any juicy spoilers for Sons of Anarchy? Wednesday's installment is heartbreaking. The episode begins with a cover of "Forever Young," and ends with the reveal (at long last) of SOA's Ophelia. And somewhere in the middle, Tara tells Jax she loves him...
So this leads me to think that the death is...
Tara.
As much as I'd hate for that to happen (I love Tara), it makes sense. Ophelia was Hamlet's true love who died tragically. Tara tells Jax she loves him in the middle of the episode. It would make sense that Tara dies.
But looking at Kurt Sutter's pictures from the finale on his blog, Maggie Siff is there. So she must be involved with filming the finale at some point. Opie is the only character who isn't pictured and I don't think they'd kill off a major character this early in the show.
BUT, in the finale there is a funeral with supposedly over 50 bikes. So it makes sense that a member of the club dies and it makes sense that Opie dies.
The only characters that I am 100% sure it won't be are: Jax, Gemma, Wendy, Tig, Juice, Clay. Anyone else is fair game.
I just can't wait for tomorrow so I can find out what happens, the suspense is killing me.
So who do you all think is gonna kick the bucket tomorrow night?
If you watch the promo for this week's upcoming episode, someone gets killed. You can tell when cops are covering a dead body.
In another scene, you see Gemma crying while holding Jax.
And then at the end you see Opie with a gun with Tig standing behind him ready to shoot (although it looked like it was in a different spot from the dead body).
So who do you think dies?
I paused the promo on my TiVo and it looks (to me) like Chibs (I doubt it, but the hair looks similar, that's basically the only part you can see). But I really think it's going to be Opie, the obvious choice.
I hope they don't kill off Opie. He was wrongly set up as the rat and sh*t could explode if he is killed, especially Opie being Jax's best friend. Gemma even knows Opie is innocent.
Promo #1 This one is a short one that is just a shot of a building in New York City. The Damages logo appears and then there's Ellen's voice in the background saying "Revenge is a great motivator".
Promo #2 This is a longer one. Ellen gets out of bed where another man is laying with her. She begins to get ready to go out and she's saying "Last year, I graduated law school and was buried in student loans. Today, I cashed in a bonus check of $2 million and am working side by side with Patty Hewes." Then Ellen gets out of an elevator. The next shot is her coming out of a car with Patty laying down underneath her. Ellen steps on her neck and walks away. Then she says "There's only one problem: she tried to kill me." Ellen goes up an escalator and sees Patty waiting for her at the top.
Did anyone catch in the Nip/Tuck trailer for this season that Julia was talking about an autopsy? And then she would make sure that Christian never worked again?
Do you think she could be talking about Annie? She was in the middle of surgery when Sean was attacked, do you think something could of happened that killed her?
Seeing how you screwed fans out of a full season (and a full SERIES) of Dirt, we are desperately waiting for the remaining 7 episodes on DVD. Yes, there won't be another season so there really isn't a rush. But there also isn't a good reason to take forever on it. There hasn't even been an announcement about it yet.
RELASE DIRT SEASON 2! We don't care about the auctions, we just want the rest of the show on DVD (with a LARGE amount of bonus features, by the way).
So it's halfway through October and we still haven't seen a promo for Damages. If it's starting in January, shouldn't there be ads for it by now? I've seen a ton of websites saying "January 6, 2009" for a premiere date but how can we definitely know this without a word about it coming from FX?
I don't know if it was just me being very tired at the time, but I didn't think Testees was that funny, especially coming after a hysterical episode of Sunny. I'll probably stick with the show for a little bit, hopefully we'll see it get funnier.

(Warning, includes spoilers)
Oh, and you idiots who say SOA is doing so bad in the ratings: it's averaging 3.5 million a week in the target demo with 5.4 cumulative, making it FX's most successful show since Rescue Me.
Damages: An Emmy can do wonders for one's career, but can it also raise the dead? Apparently so! Fresh off his Supporting Actor win as Damages' Ray Fiske, who shot and killed himself in last season's penultimate episode, Zeljko Ivanek has inked a deal to make what my source calls "several appearances" in season 2. Hope Patty Hewes isn't afraid of ghosts!
He'd probably be back in flashbacks, but I think it would be really cool if Patty was sort of being haunted by Ray about what she led him to do. Any thoughts?
Kurt Sutter said that in week five, ratings went up again! It said he matched the premiere number (which I'm assuming means 2.5 million), but he also mentions a 1.5 in there, so I'm not sure exactly what it is.
But here's the link for those interested. Congrats, SOA!!!
Kurt Sutter posted a blog about ratings for Sons of Anarchy. He said that viewers have actually been going up and that premiere week last week barely effected audiences at all (in fact, it went UP competing against CSI:NY and Lipstick Jungle).
He said the drops in viewers has not been high at all, which is great for the show.
Here is the link to the blog entry. http://sutterink.blogspot.com/2008/09/soa-growing-audience.html
I'm watching Sons of Anarchy and I saw a commercial congratulating Glenn Close and Zeljko Ivanek on winning Emmys. Then it said: new season of Damages January 2009.
I guess we could say promotion for season 2 is starting. :D
