Just saw this on Yahoo- they had a list of the Top 10 Emmy snubs for 2008 nominations and the Riches was on the list. They have a picture of Driver and Izzard with this paragraph: "Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver may play thieving cons to perfection in this underappreciated FX series, but its the program that was ultimately robbed of a nod. Now that The Sopranos is gone for good, The Riches has the best crime family on television"
Come on FX and John Landgraf... i am sick of waiting for the news or a press release.... just tell us that you are doing season 3 of the Riches! Make the fans happy!
Here is something that is truly annoying with the head of scheduling of FX programming. FX has time and has had plenty of time in the past to replay reruns of Dirt (before the untimely cancellation), Damages, The Riches, etc... however, FX for some asinine reason continues to play the same retarded movies over and over and over again... i mean, come on, how many times does FX expect their audience to watch S.W.A.T or White Chicks... it is ridiculous how many times they rerun these same tired stupid movies... but barely give their own shows a chance to shine...I am actually suprised that FX has gotten as far as they have when they act like a male version of Lifetime! You should change the name from FX to ML (ManLifeTime - Television for super idiots!)
Over on TVGuide.com and Eonline they are reporting that both Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver are on the short list to be possibly nominated for Emmys this year! The final nominees are announced around July 17th... Further reasons why FX should renew this show...Again i ask, FX what's the delay?
