There are some dedicated people (like myself) trying to solve the lack of access to safe drinking water on the Navajo
reservation there is a growing effort to meet the United Nations Millennium
Development goal to increase access by 2015 on Native America and Alaskan
Native lands. There is the problem of government
“stoved piped” bureaucracy thinking I am working to break down. However, shrinking funding is a major obstacle
to success, especially for operating a safe water system after the infrastructure
is in place – the US Government has never appropriated funds for this, therefore
more exposés like this episode of 30 days are needed to get the word out and
change this history soon. Thanks FX!
